After the long restful Winter Season, Camp Namanu is ready to wake up for the Spring!!

Join us for a Service Weekend this March 8-10. Service Weekends are an opportunity to reconnect with community, Namanu, and the outdoors. Please note that Child Care is not offered during our Service Weekends, but you are welcome to have your young ones help you with projects you are working on.

This Service Weekend there will be many ways that you can support Camp Namanu and its readiness for 2019! Here are just some of the ways you can help:

1. Chopping Wood and Kindling
2. Trail Clearing
3. Moving Benches and Tables
4. Cabin and Deck Cleaning
5. Helping FoN prepare for their next mailing
6. Foundation Clearing

Weekend Schedule:

Friday, March 8

4:00 pm – 9:00 pm Check-in at Raker Lodge, tea, hot chocolate, coffee, and snacks available. Please don’t arrive before 4pm. No dinner is served so bring a sack dinner with you! Our Camp Namanu staff will meet you at the check-in table. If you are new don’t be afraid to ask anyone for help if you need more direction!

Saturday, March 9

8:30 am Breakfast in Raker Lodge

9:30 am Namanu Work Projects, Session #1

12:30 pm Lunch

1:30 pm Namanu Work Projects, Session #2

5:00 pm Break

6:00 pm Dinner

7:30 pm Free Time

10:00 pm Quiet time begins

Sunday, March 10

8:30 am Breakfast in Raker Lodge

9:30 am Clean and move out of cabins. Wrap up any unfinished projects

10:15 am March Friends of Namanu Meeting in Raker Lodge

12 noon Depart Namanu. Thank you for spending time with us, up at Camp Namanu. Lunch will not be served on Sunday.
