Our Sandy, Oregon Namanu Day Camp in the City is in partnership with Sandy Parks & Recreation. Day Camp will be held at Cedar Ridge Middle School, which includes classrooms, a gym, and an outside playground space. Sandy Day Campers will also visit Camp Namanu at least once a week for a fun-filled day of activities such as hiking, swimming, archery, camp crafts, critter catching and row boating!

Namanu Day Camp in the City provides more than just a traditional day camp program. Our staff are trained to give our campers a voice and to let them be a part of the choices made by the group. Our staff are trained in Growth Mindset to help campers grow in a positive way and set life-long patterns for success. Namanu Day Camp in the City brings the “Magic of Camp Namanu” into the city while providing hands-on learning opportunities to combat summer learning loss. Each week will be a unique adventure as campers participate in a variety of activities to have fun and keep their minds and bodies active. In addition, each week, each camp travels to Camp Namanu, a historic, 552 acre resident camp just outside of Sandy, Oregon. We will experience activities like hiking, camp crafts, archery, swimming and enjoy the culture of Namanu.

Sandy Namanu Day Camp in the City runs June 26th – August 18th, Monday-Friday, 7:00am-6:00pm. There will not be Day Camp July 3rd-July 4th.
