Camp Fire Columbia recently held the third Corporate Day of Service at Camp Namanu. Employees joined us from KeyBank, Pacific Continental Bank, Boly:Welch, and Xenium HR. Volunteers worked hard to help us close out our 93rd summer at Camp.
One team stained cabins at Namanu Ranch, while another team dug post holes for new benches near the House of Health at Camp Namanu.
After the service projects were completed everyone enjoyed a BBQ lunch. Afterwards attendees had the opportunity to explore some favorite camp activities including climbing the rock wall, learning archery, and a riverwalk and tour of Camp Namanu.
Corporate partner Boly:Welch has joined us for multiple days of service, and shared their experience with this great blog post. “We felt engaged, and left enthused; thankful that such organizations exist and pleasantly surprised by the treat it was to have an opportunity to be involved.” – Team from Boly:Welch
We appreciate them, and all of our corporate partners who support our work at Camp Fire, and for making Camp Namanu “sure to shine…all of the time.”
