Beginning 8/12/17 there is a  new pick up location for the remainder of camp season.  This includes pickup on 8/12, 8/19 and 8/26, but does NOT change Wednesday pick up. (If your camper’s session ends on Wednesday refer to the Parent Handbook to review instructions.)

Saturday pickup will take place at Multnomah Education Service District Parking Lot
11611 NE Ainsworth Circle, Portland, Or 97220

Buses expected to arrive between 11:00 a.m. and 11:15 a.m.

What happens at Check Out?

  1. Find a place to park
  2. Look for the Camp Namanu Check In/Out Pop up tent
  3. Show Staff your Photo ID at the popup tent
    1. You will receive a color coded slip of paper with your campers name on it.
      (Do not lose this, you will need it to show the bus captains when the buses arrive).
    2. Did your child have medication at Camp? Collect it here from our Camp Nurse.
  4. Check out the nearby luggage area to find your Campers luggage.
    1. Don’t see one of your campers’ items? Check the lost and found table.
    2. Sometimes campers like to keep a backpack with them on the bus.
  5. Visit the Pop-Up Camp Store to retrieve any money your Camper did not spend and maybe treat yourself to some Namanu fan gear.
    1. Store money under $10 left at camp/bus pick up will be considered a donation to camperships.
    2. Money not retrieved by 9/1 of each year will be donated to camperships.
    1. Listen as Camp staff announces where your Campers Unit Bus is.
      (Sometimes the buses leave Camp in one order, and arrive in another.)
    2. Look for the Color Coded signs at the front of the buses that match your slip of paper you collected at the check-out table.
    3. Hand your slip of paper over to our bus captains at the front of the bus, so they know who to call off of the bus.
