Mark and his wife Lori are both from Detroit, Michigan, where they lived and worked before moving on to new adventures and career opportunities in Aspen, Seattle, Chicago, Fort Lauderdale and the San Juan Islands. When not working around camp, Mark, Lori, and their dog Jack like to explore: hiking, kayaking, and camping around the Pacific Northwest. Mark is excited to be a part of the Camp Namanu team and he is looking forward to maintaining and improving all aspects of the Camp Namanu property.
Mark began his career as a Journeyman machinist before transitioning to becoming a residential remodeling contractor, then spending many years commissioning and refurbishing yachts. Since 2012, he and Lori have been the property managers of a remote island estate in the San Juan Islands and in 2016 were the hosts and managers of a group of remote off-grid cabins high in the Sierra Nevada outside of Yosemite Park.
